 Purpose
The Soo Locks Visitors Center in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan offers a unique look into Michigan's maritime history. |
The Soo Locks Visitors Center Association seeks to cooperate with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers so as to acquire new exhibits, to preserve and display marine artifacts and to present programs pertaining to the Soo Locks, the St. Mary's Rive and the Great Lakes and to disseminate such information to the general public through visitor center attendance, newsletters and meetings, and to achieve the above with a growing membership of involved citizens who will provide financial resources through their membership to serve the great Sault Ste Marie community.
Membership
The SLVCA is funded though memberships. Everyone, from our youth to our elders has an opportunity to contribute to the Soo Locks Visitors Center. By becoming a member, you will become a "shipmate with us" on an exciting journey into the past, present, and the future.
Your donation, no matter what the size, will help continue the work of the association as well as provide continued improvements to the Visitors Center.
Please take a few moments to download and send in your membership form. Your help will build a strong Visitors Center, community, and area as a whole. Our tomorrow depends on it.
